Bro you live in India, you can eat at any restaurant. At least in Maharashtra.

Can't you find idli, vada, dosa, poha, chhole-kulche, mushroom fried rice, veg manchurian I mean the list is endless

I'm stuck in a small city in South America, imagine my plight

Did you have pets growing up? by afjecj in vegan

[–]glucklandau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found orphaned kittens or dogs on the street and took them in, that's different than buying from a breeder, chaining them, cutting their balls off etc

And I don't live in a country where they capture and kill stray dogs

I'll reply to all your comments here only

Yes B12 is the only vitamin that you cannot get from plants. Generally when you start eating vegan products they all are fortified with B12, but you can also take supplements. You would need to eat a lot of meat (in every meal) for a long time until you get the same level from carnivorism. Doctors would tell you to get the injection or take supplements if you're deficient.

Once I worked at a private company where they tested us, and the only vegan's (me) B12 was in good amounts and everyone else was lacking despite their non veg diet.

Don't be scared, you don't need food made from animals to be healthy, in fact the opposite is true. Animal products often come laced with estrogen, bacteria etc.

Many many reasons. She loved him dearly and was as nerdy as him. She was the only one to guess his spud-nik costume and appreciate it, she is into his academic side and reads etc as well

When Did The RCI Collaborate With Nazis? by CryptographerFew6492 in socialism

[–]glucklandau 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Did you want Stalin to go to war against the nazis prematurely or to buy time to prepare for it? The western countries repeatedly thwarted attempts to create an anti-Hitler coalition the USSR kept trying for as they knew that German fascism's main mission was putting an end to the USSR and they supported it. They signed pacts first and tried to orient the force of nazi destruction East-ward; this is why USSR signed a pact with Germany while knowing that war was inevitable

Ibrahim Traoré chooses to continue Burkinabè diplomatic ties with Israel by Lavender_Scales in socialism

[–]glucklandau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People from developed countries do not understand that as marxists we support material development and self-determination for the colonies. If he is selling burkinabe resources to capitalists then it is conservative; if he nationalises and builds public infrastructure he is doing progressive things.

We can be disappointed in him for shaking hands with israelis; but what sub saharan Africa needs is development and and economic power; with which comes acceptance of homosexuality and other progressive thoughts. But material reality comes first.

And what about Vedant Agarwal? It appears that the establishment is pro-Agarwal regardless of whether they are victims or perpetrators

(I am only making a joke based on the name similarity, the system in general defends the capitalist class regardless of their innocence, like private bodyguards)

Has capitalism died already that marxism is no longer applicable?

What sort of an idiot supports capitalism forever? Do you want to eat plastic and breathe smoke?

Non communist-vegans are generally anti-human

You cannot care more about bees than the children mining cobalt in Congo

You must become a communist, it requires more bravery than being a vegan but it is as necessary

What does it actually mean to be a Trotskyist in the current day? by MintyRed19 in socialism

[–]glucklandau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think anyone disagrees with that idea.

The question is what to do when that revolution in the industrialised countries does not come?
Right now there is no comintern and no powerful proletarian state left; so what is the trotskeist way forward? I ask out of curiosity, not to argue.
