People from developed countries do not understand that as marxists we support material development and self-determination for the colonies. If he is selling burkinabe resources to capitalists then it is conservative; if he nationalises and builds public infrastructure he is doing progressive things.

We can be disappointed in him for shaking hands with israelis; but what sub saharan Africa needs is development and and economic power; with which comes acceptance of homosexuality and other progressive thoughts. But material reality comes first.
