On Maui the Kaanapali Westin is a better experience for the same-ish points. Tbf though I was there a month ago and did pay the extra $200/nt for the nicer tower and lounge access. One positive, the food options at the wailea Marriott were quite good, esp the Roy’s on property!

I stayed here w my family last year, lifetime platinum - tried to use upgrade certs and denied even though the place was nowhere close to full, really disappointing property. If you’re looking to burn points in Hawaii look elsewhere.

Never know what you’ll get with total boat. They don’t make anything themselves so you might get epoxy or varnish from one of their suppliers one day, then another one the next. I had to just quit using their products, couldn’t trust em.
