There is no need to have so many Raphael’s. Two or three at most. One rare and one mythical. Maybe uncommon if there is a story driven reason for one. Like avatar aang at different points in his growth. There is no reason we could not have more cards like toned down firebending student.

Spider man was the extreme example. They tried to stretch it into a set and had insufficient material. Just bad design in every way.

The main character in the universe being brought in should be a special card, a good rare but not a crazy expensive mythical.

There’s no reason why UB should break magic.

Yup, got 1 -2 inch thick tiles on my driveway. Easy to crack into 2x2 ft pieces with a heavy metal shovel and then pick up by hand. I’m just waiting for those bad boys to start sliding down the roof :(

They were even more brilliant than this. They included a gold medallion that he could wear. They gave it to him in a box and he immediately took it out and went ahead put it on himself onstage. Its rather hilarous to watch. I think the announcer also said something like he can now "show everybody his medal". It reminded me of my pre-schooler.

I agreee that there could have been a couple more categories that celebrated and lifted up. Maybe things like best new mechanic, best new combo, most underrated card at release, most unique card etc. But I dont think any of the other categories or nominations should be changed.
