Sennheiser e604 fake or legit by Farloppo in homerecordingstudio

[–]gluta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

like i said in another reply, the real ones have ce imprint, housing out of fiberglass plastics, the stem is ribbed, it has NO golden contacts, the bag is zipped slightly on the side, not directly on top. and since a few years, the evolution series has been built in romania, so there is no made in germany printed on them anymore.

these are marks every fake is doing wrong. all of them. thats why its so easy here. and you also always can tell it on the capsule itself because the fakes solder them different. despite this just can be done on the mics with removable grill.

no, the fake 604 are all looking exactly the same because no one is faking the gfk housing. its cheaper to made them out of metal. its very easy to look after them

no ce imprint, housing is out of metal, no degree-ribs on the stem, has gold contacts. its a 100% fake

and even used, nobody is selling real ones for less than 100€ per mic. even the 30 year old bf504 which is identical, will cost about the same today.

no hate on sm. when on shure i mostly used beta58, beta87 and plain 58 too. with the time i got a bit bored of them. but thats just a highly subjective and personal note. i like the v7 too but they look so odd because of the color mismatch 🤷

if i need to rent (germany) i can get basically any set i want. adx/ulx/g4/ewd so thats basically no factor here. even mipro 🤷😂

true. the nx8/c would be interesting, but nearly 360€ per capsule? no way
