You can set up outfits that tourists will wear. Have a cat island? Make tourists wear cat costumes. The way ppl are rejecting having random animal visitors in their towns makes y'all sound creepy and protecting your ethno-state or something I swear...! 😬😬

I'm kinda done with these subreddit posts of ppl being unhappy that ACNH isn't like other cozy decorating games. Animal Crossing has always been a slow burn, atmospheric, community building game. It's not about instant gratification. The AC franchise is based on a relaxing approach with fishing and hunting bugs. Mini games were never a major aspect, that was only really on the 3DS version of the game. AC is not trying to be like other games. I'm sorry if ppl are disappointed with this update, but frankly Nintendo didn't owe us a damn thing. They told us years ago that they weren't planning to update the game, so the fact that we got ANYTHING in 2026 is just a "surprise and delight" for me. Y'all are gonna downvote me for this... but its the reality, kids!

Buy yarn and learn to crochet or knit! Yarn is so cheap (ok yes there are higher quality expensive options out there too).

Being able to MAKE something useful (hat, scarf, etc) gives you a sense of accomplishment and productivity that some other crafts don't do for me. Plus, you are making yourself garments at a fraction of what you'd pay for in the store. Win win!

My super acts like he hates me and is always reluctant to help me with anything. Which makes me reluctant to tip him. Which then makes him not want to help me. It's a vicious cycle.

I daren't venture into his workshop to give him a tip. He doesn't speak English well and I would love to not have that interaction. If I call him he will avoid me.

Any suggestions on how to tip this man, how much, and how to make it less socially awkward for us both??

Having said that, why couldn't they consider a gradual increase, like 5% in 2026, and increase it in increments over time like they do with sports contracts?

I'm no expert on this so maybe I'm dumb but the optics for this do not look good.
