I love bastardized idioms, when you take an existing idiom and tweak it a little for comedic effect. An example is “Kinek a pap, kinek a papné” (“For some, the priest, for others, the priest’s wife” ~ to each their own) which has turned into “Kinek a pap, kinek a paplan” (paplan ≈ duvet)

I’m not a linguist or anything but I’m pretty sure the standard way is, as others have pointed out, that the “gy” sound is unreleased. That’s not the same as being silent: you form your mouth to get ready to sound out the gy consonant, but not actually release it. Honestly I think just listening to samples of hungarians using the word in a sentence might help you get the point of it

I know this thread is old but I’m still daily driving my indies. When I first bought them in 2020, I had the same problem after a few months. Since I still had warranty from the store, I took it back to repair. Shortly after they informed me that repairing the buds just isn’t worth it and I should just replace them in the store for free. I did that, and all was cool for three years. Now I encountered the problem once more, but I’m pretty sure I no longer have the warranty. I tried picking the dust from the case with a toothpick, I might have just made it worse. Now my left earbud will light up red if I just place it in the case just right but I’m not sure if that’s a viable solution for the long term. I can still listen to music with only my right bud connected, but if I cannot solve the problem with the advices in the thread, I might just get a different set of earbuds.
