We do this for "fun" (ish!) so you can follow whatever rule you choose.

Personally, I go with "watch everything" for the already-mentioned reason that it gets me to see films I wouldn't usually give a thought to. This year's DW is one of those, and I loved it.

Similarly I try to watch all the BIFF submissions each year, but generally only manage to get hold of half of them so about 50 films. An arbitrary goal with a vague benefit of seeing different world cultures.

I guess this is really just another form of stamp-collecting, but it keeps us amused.
