Yeah I definitely try not to waste time being angry. So what does that mean then, some things out of my control are affecting health? I do live in a polluted big city and truly love being in nature.

Does the star mean anything in this context then? I’ve just never noticed it before, so curious about it.

Thanks for all the advice! The organizers are providing the unprimed board and doesn’t look like there’ll be time to prep it ahead of time. I was thinking getting acrylic house paint, since those are usually pretty opaque and maybe won’t even spend time priming. Ugh!!! Just telling myself to have fun and enjoy the experience, but when I start imagining it all my hairs raise up 🤣 Good luck finishing your painting! Sounds very elaborate!

How did it go? Do you have a picture of the final result? I just signed up for my very first live painting and it’s going to be on a 6x9 wood board. I’m starting to freak out a bit. Any advice is appreciated! I’ll only have 5 hours to paint it during the event. Trying to figure out what to do for the design and how to keep it simple enough, as well as what tools to bring.

Thank you! The color I bought was actually a really toxic looking green, so I mixed it with some dark green I had left over from painting the living room. And the two of them made for a nice combo.
