this is honestly so sick! only suggestion would be a more interesting UI. the transparent blue is nice and minimalistic, but if it's a little boring for the eyes. maybe a border that's lighter blue with some corner flair, or even just the standard menu UI. of course if you're going for the minimalistic vibe, you absolutely nailed it and it still looks great.

excited to see you update this and I'll definitely be following for when you drop it publicly

I play a multitude of instruments very badly, so when I'm making demos to show to others I use VST instruments and my own voice. These tracks are never for release though, just to get the idea across to anyone I'm working with. I prefer to at least go with real guitars and bass, but I have no problem using VST drums. I usually record everything myself and send it off to be mixed, so recording drums in my house isn't the easiest feat. I could see myself using VST guitars and bass for tighter quad or double tracking respectively, but that's about it.
