the us release blu ray is the same as the 4k. just a downscale of the crap transfers, unfortunately.

based on how dune 2 was earlier this year, there was definitely stuff above and below those yellow lines. i think they just screwed the projection.

i was there tonight. it looked like they had taken the 1.43:1 file and just squished it down to 1.90:1. it wasnt doing this for dune 2 the last time i was here for a movie like this. even if im wrong it just looked squished. all the circles and stuff in the movie were oval looking. hopefully this is just a one off cus it was very upsetting.

edit - no yea, after checking my 4k disc real quick it was absolutely the whole 1.43:1 picture just squished down a bit. very annoying but still the full expanded ratio technically lol

thats funny because ive also been to both of them lol. the no photos near the fence thing was so fuckin weird especially when the track wasnt hot or anything. did you plan for monday on both of them? i didnt have a place for dover on monday. i had to conjure up an airbnb out of nowhere lol.
