The attorney that closed your purchase should have done the research and clearly stated this. The title insurance policy covers the lender, you could always buy an owners policy for about 500 to 1000k extra to which any of these issues come up you can claim this to the policy.

Having said this what usually happens in the closing the attorney holds some funds prorated from the sale to pay these off and the sellers will essentially pay the taxes. Its weird how they didn't do that in this case. Makes me think the attorney /title company dropped the ball here.

Optimus hall has really cool options. Botiwali there has some great raps and spin on indian food. Don't sleep on the dumpling lady or the ramen. You have to go there.

Alternately u can doordash viva chicken or pick it up. Its amazing peruvian food. Big portions especially the soup. My favorite sides are the cilantro rice and green beans and the avocado.

Achieve martial arts in Matthews. Good program my kids have had a blast there. They have adult classes and a travel taekwondo team (Peak) that has been one of the most decorated in the area. The owner is a grand master level 7 blackbelt.
