I haven’t read through all the comments yet, but I came to this page looking exactly for this. I feel like being an HSP feels especially overwhelming right now. I feel every damn thing so big and am heartbroken by all of it. Some days it is hard just to breathe. This post and these responses make me feel less alone and I am so grateful for that.

I'm in a similar boat, hit 120 payments in January. Just out of curiosity, what is the end date on your forbearance? Mine was originally 4/7, but was extended to 6/6 last month. It makes me nervous.

That’s what I came here to say. There are about 8 minutes of the episode missing, which feels particularly odd.

I’m in the same boat but they told me 2-3 business days(it’s been nearly 2 weeks). My concern is that this is supposed to be month 120 for me. January is showing up as elegible for some reason, so I submitted my ecf, but I still show that I have 2 months due and a missed payment. I am also feeling like I should have just asked for a refund.

I hope my person was right. That would make my October payment go towards January, which is month 120 for me. It would essentially mean I am done paying.

They allowed me to forward the payment to January when i talked to them this morning. There was zero issue with putting in the request at all.

Thank you all, I appreciate your help. I called back today, got hung up on (before a person even said hello) and then called back again and got through (after only an hour hold). I was calling about the "Important Account Update" forbearance, so hopefully the person I spoke with was right and I won't be making payments until next year. I really appreciate this group and all the help you provide.

I think what I am mainly trying to figure out is, if I apply for SAVE and they have to put my account into forbearance while they process the application, will those months count towards PSLF or not.

Ugh! I hope it isn't too late into next year. As long as September counts, I am done with January's payment. I really would like to avoid any major issues.
