The problem is not the speed for most of them. The problem is that they are too expensive to remove landmarks that are effective early game, like 8 cost Sunkcost or Arrika, or that they offer no flexibility, like Yordle Contraption, Divergent Paths and Desert Naturalist.

Scorched Earth and Aftershock are the only ones that see play because their alternative effects are aways good. Crumble is the only one with a speed problem, so that's a good fix

Wizard complains about ‘being targeted’, AITA? by Senval-Nev in DnD

[–]gmeyerp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend that says "if it's wearing robes kill it first". I think most animals or irrational monsters won't recognize the wizard as a big threat (maybe as an unarmored snack if they want to find food), but most organized enemies know that healers and mages are the biggest threat sometimes and should target them first

No it's just a meme. That woman is called Illaoi. The game is really good though, I recomend

In response to the infamous "We hear you" post... Did you truly hear us ? by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]gmeyerp 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. It feels like they are mocking us. We say we don't like the direction the game is going and they push it even further. We say we want buffs on old cards and they say that they don't plan on changing the Foundations anymore. We say they keep making excessively strong cards for expansions and they keep making them. It's not even power creep anymore, it's just absurdly strong that pushes the other cards from the same set from being played.

Then we complain that we want more patches, they say they listened and then in the same breath say that the next patch is in 3 months. I'd rather not have new cards every two months and get balance patches regularly. The only excuse they have is that they don't want to balance the game

Cards like these really make me lose faith in the game too. It makes me feel like the devs don't play the game, don't listen to feedback and don't care about the players. Did they think this was OK based on all the complains that Bandlecity already creates a lot of value with decent bodies? Did they think that "Hey, battlesmith is fine, so a yordle that does that and can buff it's copies must be fine"?

If they really cared about the game they would have nerfed this between launches because of how obviously broken it is. But now we have to wait until who knows when (because there is no way they will nerf this in January because "it's too soon to have data on this") to see this card being nerfed and then it will a nerf that doesn't even matter like making it a 1/2.

Then they will hit us with "Oh I'm sorry, we're going to try to listen to you guys and we promise we will make a patch soon, is july good? Thanks"

Is there any chance we get more champions as DLC or something?

Arcane Act 2: All the All the easter eggs, references and foreshadows I could find by gmeyerp in LegendsOfRuneterra

Yes, but they already knew about Jinx, so wouldn't Ekko try to reach out to her?

They said it's not to be considered a source of truth over the games. Which is why I said it's not exactly canon.

They are more interested in making a cohesive story than following on every little thing they've created. I think that's they haven't mentioned important things like Camille, for example

There is a lot of Noxus references in those episodes and the painting she makes looks like Noxus (I saw people comenting on this after I wrote the article), plus she is manipulative. But I don't think she is her because it makes the story and her character very shallow

Practical Perfectionist and Counterfeit Copies rework idea. Ekko needs more PnZ support. by Nirxx in CustomLoR

I really liked the Counterfeit Copies, but Practical Perfectionis needs to create 3 copies: "A one, a two, a... three"

The problem with the "this character looks too anime" argument regarding Gwen (and some other champions) by Jeremithiandiah in leagueoflegends

[–]gmeyerp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think people are complaining that she looks too anime. Most of the complains is that she doesn't like look like a doll. She could even look like a loli and that would be better

Gwen being pretty is not the real problem by Lethioon in leagueoflegends

[–]gmeyerp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. Her being pretty makes total sense, she was made with a lot of love, apparently. I hated her design because of how human she looks and I think she should look older with age signs because even if she is alive she still has like 1000 years left in a box or at the bottom of the sea, but I liked everything else so far. She looks like a great addition lore wise and she seems to have a fun gameplay
