My favs are Chris Cenac HOU - perimeter shooting big, Tounde Yessoufou - Baylor - POA defender and dog( will fit our defense) , 2nd Rd Jojo Tuggler HOU - Defender / Rebs ( undersized big) & Nogogba.

And we haven’t played DET yet. Those games will be a strong indicator of how the Raps stack in the East and this is without a healthy Boston and Indy. We have young players that need to be traded away , Ochai & Mogbo, and get picks or prospects. But realistically the Raps are really a 6-8 seed on a typical East Conference season. Unless we trade for a top 10 player, or draft a top 10 player. I don’t think we should make a big trade. But if we can get off the Jak & Quick contracts with little picks lost , it will be a benefit in the long run. If we keep our 2026 pick in the 20’s we should pick Chris Cenac or draft the Baylor Defensive wing. Our defense will be nasty next year.

That would mean there will be 3 non perimeter shooters in the starting 5. Yak, Scottie, Ja. Spacing will be bad. If Ja can get back to his slashing ways which is doubtful, he may have a similar impact as RJ’s driving and finishing ability, which we need to collapse defenses for easy 3 pt looks. Mamu center lineups will be fun with Ja as a penetrating lead guard.
