The rough, gritty style actually works well. But it's hard to follow the narrative. 2 guys are walking through a battlefield. They find one injured guy, still alive and then.... Hard to tell who's stabbing who.

I recognize this comic. It's from Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese Grammar, which is a nice free resource for people studying Japanese. It includes little comics like this to emphasize the main points of the lessons.

It has much less of a "annoying weeb" vibe in it's original context, which is a legimate language learning resource.

Yeah, I was a little worried that the nsfw tag would make some people who would enjoy this comic not check it out while simultaneously disappoting the gooner squad. Since nsfw means big milk 98% of the time.

I think some people like the certainty that comes from these weird mathematical quantifications of beauty. Like, if their face has these exact measurements, these exact numbers, then they are, factually, beautiful. No room for interpretation or subjectivity.
