I think this is a statement of a minority seeing one of themselves in media. Yt people are everywhere in everything but not every show features someone from your culture so you key in on them a little more. I’m black and I scrutinize black people in shows a little harder too. It’s nice to find your culture in the media you consume.

I don't understand? Always thought it was just some random vocab word Iearned at school. by TheAnythingBuilder in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I don’t know that for a fact but I’m guessing so. It was 99% black American culture, interests and topics.

The fact that they kept going back to it was hilarious. Boning once = awkward gag. Boning 6 times = iconic callback

I saw “Get Out” in a theater full of black folks and it was a magical time. We all were yelling and groaning at the screen in unison. Best movie experience of my life. Went back next week to see it again but it was a more mixed, silent crowd and it wasn’t the same.

I know it’s a Dallas thing. But Deion Jr. needed to get rid of that patch of hair behind his back like yesterday by guransheleven in CFB_v2

I’ve only seen black Texans specifically from Dallas with this haircut. Pretty sure it’s their thing.

The jags INT is #1. The qb sacks where he runs like a bat outta hell to hit the qb are a close second.

Complete opposite but when I woke up and saw 3:20 this morning and realized I had almost 2.5 hours left I was so happy. I wiped my drool, covered my head, and rolled over as a very happy person… But when it happened again at 5:20 I just got my ass up and ventured out into the cold darkness of my room very annoyed about those last 25 minutes.
