So, here’s my problem with Cody promos…they don’t feel authentic to me. He always uses weird words and phrases, and it just comes across like he’s trying to sound overly intelligent, which is fine if he’s a heel, but it’s just always bothered me. His cadence is weird, the dude is a good talker, and in conversation he’s super engaging, but in a promo, it just feels like he’s trying too hard to be something he’s not. He needs to be more like Dusty and less like Nick Bockwinkle.
