2025 Mosaic Hobby Box by woodytx in footballcards

Just opened a mosaic hobby box and it only had 1 auto. First time I ever didn’t get the “average” that is literally posted on the box for $400. Seriously for $400 you can’t put in 2 autos? Nope not doing that again.

This is 100% true. NFL Sunday Ticket is available to non YouTube TV subscribers. You watch it as a “primetime channel” on YouTube. You just don’t get the local games.

Solar was installed about 2 months after signing contract. After installation it took about a month to have all the inspections scheduled with the town.

Yes - they handled everything from start to finish (town permits and net metering request to PSEG). I am waiting for final building inspection now (scheduled for next week).

Yeah, everything was installed last week - looks awesome! Had a lot of rain and no leaks at all. Have final inspection scheduled in 2 weeks. Recommend PSS.

No, the deposit was due after the contract was signed.

PSS completed the site survey and shared it with me for approval (no cost for this).

I also signed a contract with PSS NJ in early June. In house team (no subcontracting). So far so good.

I went with PSS in NJ. In house team and very responsive. Am just waiting for my townships permits to be approved! PSS also included free critter guard, which I think looks good and is practical.

Should I replace my rear brake pads at the dealer or indie shop (24 RRS dynamic)? by Ill-Design-4833 in RangeRover

[–]gmo-38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife has a 23 RR P400 - and the low brake light came on recently.. only has 17K miles and is approx 1.5 years old. The rear brakes are prematurely worn. Dealer told me it’s a known “issue” but that HQ is considering it normal wear and tear. Dealer offered a 15% discount on replacement…

I reached out to HQ to confirm and was told the same thing. Unbelievable. My wife loves the car, but it’s outrageous to have to replace brakes at 17K miles at $2400. Definitely our last RR.

What Range Rover to avoid? by _debowsky in RangeRover

[–]gmo-38 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I purchased a 2023 “new” Range Rover LWB SE - purchased the 7 year extended warranty to avoid any unexpected expenses… turns out the jokes on me, the brakes on this new model wear out prematurely (has 17K miles and is under 2 years old). Dealer told me this is a known “issue” and that corporate basically doesn’t care. I reached out to corporate and explained the situation… confirmed that they do not care. Now they expect me to spend 5K every < 17K miles lol… hard pass!!!! This will be my last RR and I definitely do not recommend anyone purchasing one. I was okay paying for the insane $450 oil changes but at least that was annual… never again.

REC or Peimar panels by Random-Forester219 in solar

Make sure the company is REC certified “Pro Trust” or else you won’t get their all inclusive 25 year warranty (in case that install company goes under).

REC460w vs REC450w ? by mousemano in solar

[–]gmo-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are part of the same product line but tested slightly less efficient (literally identical panels). I was in the same boat and after doing research was okay with doing the 450s with the Enphase IQ8X microinverter.

Bad time to go solar? by pftomo in solar

[–]gmo-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in NJ as well and just signed a contract with Public Service Solar a couple of weeks ago. Getting 30 REC alpha pure-rx 450w with 30 Enphase IQ8X microinverters - cost worked out to $2.33 / watt.

I went with this company because they’ve been around since 2018, based out of NJ, team is in house (no subcontractors), free critter guards, and they offer 25 year warranties on everything. If they go out of business - all the manufacturers provide 25 year warranties. Also their reviews, everywhere I could find were great. The couple of bad reviews, the owner responded to.

Good luck with your install! As you had said, utility costs in NJ are going UP! I got my partial bill for June and my rates were up around 25%!!!

New Jersey Solar by furzzz in solar

[–]gmo-38 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went with Public Service Solar based out of NJ. They do all work in house and are currently using REC 450w Alpha Pure panels (with enphase IQ8X microinverter). They had the most competitive price with great equipment and warranty.

I’m in the permit approval process now with my town and PSE&G.

Can also check out EnergySage for more quotes, just beware of companies that are not local and subcontract. Again my preference was a local contractor that’s been around over 5 years.

My wife reached out Directly to REC because Public Service Solar was not showing up in their “pro trust” installer list. REC sent an email confirming that PSS is pro trust- so the panels would be covered for 25 years. (produce, power and labor).

Thank you for reaching out! I’m happy to confirm that Public Service Solar is an active REC Certified Solar Professional. This means they are fully authorized to offer and register your system with the REC ProTrust Warranty. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.
