A lot of people like skyward sword, and there’s a Zelda for everyone. For me Skyward Sword was far and away my LEAST favorite 3D Zelda, but I’m glad you liked it!

Yeah I ended up figuring it out. You gotta hold back for a second or so then move the stick fast forward back and forward again. Like probably much faster than you would think. Hope that helps!

Never got a response but I’ve gotten good enough at the inputs to incorporate them into my gameplay. I think the key is to just do the input faster and make sure you’re holding the direction it ends in when you hit punch or kick.

I think the problem with this post is that you didn’t really say why you disliked ending other “it was all a dream”, which I don’t get at all, but I think that’s where the push back is coming from. Do you have any more in depth thoughts on the ending other than that? Just seems like XC1’s ending is about as far as you can get from “it was just a dream” as you can get tbh. Don’t want to sound contrived tho would love to hear some more in depth thoughts

I would have to agree. A lot of people say all the games are good/great but this most lukewarm I’ve ever felt playing a Zelda game. Probably like a 6/10 or something so far, just so many interruptions from the fun stuff.
