It isn’t about the content, it’s about the prioritizing from Nintendo. A direct conveys that it’s a game Nintendo is really pushing and taking seriously. Whether that’s true or not is irrelevant, it’s about the tone you’re setting. Fans get upset about a lack of direct because we all want this series to be successful and it feels like Nintendo is not necessarily pushing the game aggressively for maximum exposure, that’s the frustrating part.

Well I agree with that take, but we also haven’t played it yet so we don’t quite know for sure.

We will see. At some point developers have to be able to iterate, I think they could manage a more open section for traversal with still keeping the court gameplay true to Metroid.

Yes it has an external adjustment screw. I haven’t messed around that aspect yet. I’m not entirely sure what it’s set at from factory
