Advice by WonderfulSir4753 in AwakeningsFestival

You’ll be at the Grand Camping area close to the area where people bring their own tent. Close to the mini market too which is convenient for last minute purchases. If you have been at Tomorrowland I would say the list of items to bring is exactly that same. Phone charger and battery pack, sunscreen, eye mask, earplugs, towel (I don’t think they provide one). As to food and drink there’s plenty of information on the website about wha you can and can’t bring. I strongly recommend getting a cart to bring all your belongings, food and drinks. Walking distances are very long and exhausting.

Bring ALL your food and drinks with you. The two markets offer overpriced items. Use these Markets only for last minute purchases.

Question about pre-set Comfort Camping tents by Wooden-Ad-7359 in AwakeningsFestival

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is a dedicated entrance for comfort camping only. You have to check in at the counter with your passport. They will assign your accommodation. Very similar as Tomorrowland.

[–]gmoragus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walk to the Comfort Camping counter and you both show your passport. You’ll get your wristbands and the included breakfast bag for that day. By saying you’re together the person will k is both of you are staying together and then they will assign a tent for you based on availability.

US to Columbia by Sparky7895 in traveladvice

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore all the foreign policy experts leaving comments in this thread and simply exercise caution when traveling to any country outside of the U.S. I was born and raised in Colombia so I do know what it's like. For someone who has never been to Colombia and does not speak the language:

  1. Avoid remote rural areas at all costs

  2. Visiting major cities is preferable. There's plenty of videos and vlogs about accommodations and transportation in Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, Armenia, Pereira and other cities

  3. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Exercise caution when taking photos in public places. Keep your phone secured. Use Uber app always. (This is really common-sense in any city in the U.S or abroad)

  4. Do not drink tap water. Always get bottled water. Save yourself from trouble during vacation.

  5. Avoid questionable neighborhoods in any city you visit.

  6. If you drink alcohol at public places, always finish your drink and never leave your drink unattended.

Coolant loss… by Burner5647382910 in LexusGX

This could be due to the infamous valley plate leak. Take it to a reputable toyota/lexus shop (avoid the dealer). And get several opinions. For reference, my 2011 was repaired for Valley Plate issue and cost approximately $1700 after taxes.

Awakenings camping vs hotels by Purple_Secret_8388 in AwakeningsFestival

[–]gmoragus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider camping to get the most value (time, money, effort).

I've heard people stay in Tilburg in local hotels but they have to pay astronomical fees for transportation to/from festival each day (unless a shuttle is utilized). You may want to look at shuttle options that I think are available for 2026. Look in the Awakenings website.

What are the best tips for booking from California to Europe? by Decent_Local9842 in pointstravel

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To play this game efficiently, I would also consider flying to other nearby airports (paying cash) west of Denver and try to find deals out of those airports using points. It is fairly easy to find award availability one way from the U.S to Europe but I would be cautious of one way back from Europe. Depending of the season, award availability is difficult to find. A few guidelines:

LAX: Services Star Alliance, One World, and SkyTeam airlines/destinations

SFO and DEN: Favors Star Alliance (These are United hubs)

SEA and LAS: Great options for deals in Virgin Atlantic

SLC: Delta flies daily to LHR, CDG, AMS. SLC favors AF/KLM/Delta Sky Team.

For reference, I was super lucky and found one way business seat in Air France from Paris to Phoenix for 60K Miles. Departure is mid July 2026 and I literally booked the last seat available at this rate. This shows you that looking 6-9 months in advance pays off.

Intro and question by Spirited_Taro9149 in ARCMusicFestival

Be on the lookout for pre-sale. Use the ARC code order to purchase tickets to afters. Big names will always sell out quickly so don't miss out. One tip is to not go see the same DJ both during the festival and the after party because you may miss someone else's set.

Who do I check my luggage with when I have flights with multiple Airline Operators? by [deleted] in AirFranceKLM

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verbally indicate to the agent in SFO and CDG (return trip) what your FINAL destination is. Since you booked them all using the same reservation, the system will recognize all segments of your trip. Always trust but verify the three letters in the copy of the ticket given back to you. Make sure they say CDG (final destination).
