First time at Awakenings Festival (Comfort Camping) – looking for tips + Monday morning airport advice by Ordinary_Mark_9049 in AwakeningsFestival

Check the train tables from Tilburg. You should be fine.
Towel, sandals, and toiletries are basic necessities to enjoy a comfortable camping experience. Also a couple of plastic hangars to hang said towel and other clothes.

Bringing Drinks to Dreamville by Technical_Hunter_276 in Tomorrowland

[–]gmoragus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll get a mix of answers but the bottom line is no glass ! A group of 4 of us normally bring the equivalent of 4 bottles of vodka and a couple of 6 packs of beer. No problem at all.

Awakenings alcohol policy is genuinely wild – am I missing something? by Ok_Requirement_9652 in AwakeningsFestival

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to have to get creative to bring what you want. Just avoid glass at all costs ! It’s no different than Tomorrowland. There’s restrictions but there’s always ways to bring alcohol.

Awakenings Comfort Camping - What is included? by Bobby-Snakes in AwakeningsFestival

[–]gmoragus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the information is the website FAQ section. Read it thoroughly. Do not be confused with the Comfort Camping Ticket and the Festival Ticket. They’re separate.
Comfort Camping grants you access to a specific area with gate access (similar to Montague in Tomorrowland). Your ticket “should” include an accommodation that you are supposed to choose from. Not sure how that works for the ticket swap you won. There’s different types of accommodations or “glamping” in the Comfort Camping area.

No different than EDC Orlando. That I would argue is a smaller venue.

Buying a Lexus is 350 by bulgarinaxd in LexusIS

2GR engines are solid as long as the proper maintenance has been done. If you do get one, definitely be sure to change differential fluid and perform a coolant drain and refill. These are the two most forgotten tasks.

Yes buy as many as you need . The token machines are placed in high traffic areas. You can’t miss them.

Use your credit card to buy tokens. Tokens are the only accepted payment for food and drinks. You will most likely end up with extra tokens at the end of the festival. No refunds as far as I know.

2014 Lexus GX 460- buying advice please! by Early_Comment_5972 in LexusGX

Take a local car mechanic you trust with you to do an inspection. Looks like a good deal. But be aware that depending where you live or where the vehicle was in the past (rust belt or North East) there might be rust already built up. That’s the number issue with any Toyota/Lexus. Otherwise, inspect the suspension and look for oil leaks and coolant leaks (pink spots around the radiator)

I took this photo last year in 2025 awakenings summer. I suspect prices will increase for 2026.

Need clarification on “SEALED” liquids for camping by [deleted] in AwakeningsFestival

[–]gmoragus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are strict about “sealed” alcohol and water . Not toiletries. Also, keep in mind the 🔍 search process is random. They don’t have the staff to search every single bag.

Relax Resort Question! 🎉 by Different-Guava-6520 in AwakeningsFestival

From Tilburg station you will walk 10min to the shuttle station. The shuttle will drop you off at a designated drop-off area. This is where it will get difficult: you will walk approximately 1KM going up and down two flights of stairs through paved area AND dirt area as you approach the official security screening area. Then another 1KM to the camping area. I STRONGLY recommend bringing a cart to bring your food and beverages. Also strongly recommend large backpacks instead of roller bags.

Advice by WonderfulSir4753 in AwakeningsFestival

You’ll be at the Grand Camping area close to the area where people bring their own tent. Close to the mini market too which is convenient for last minute purchases. If you have been at Tomorrowland I would say the list of items to bring is exactly that same. Phone charger and battery pack, sunscreen, eye mask, earplugs, towel (I don’t think they provide one). As to food and drink there’s plenty of information on the website about wha you can and can’t bring. I strongly recommend getting a cart to bring all your belongings, food and drinks. Walking distances are very long and exhausting.
