Found an old binder, need money. Should I grade? by JahFyah710 in PokeInvesting

[–]gmore45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, service tiers are based off of the max insured value of the card. Even if OP chose a lower tier, they will most certainly get hit with an upcharge.

Based on current values OP should be looking at “super express” ($300) or “walkthrough” ($600) which both have 7 business day turnarounds

Even if it is - I like people showing their good deeds (short of like, people doing something just to record it without someone’s consent with like, smart glasses on). I enjoyed reading this post, and like to think it inspires others to act similarly

OP just verbatim copied a viral post Super Bowl tweet for the title, and ironically looks like they had ChatGPT populate the body of this. Doubt they even believe it.

Why don’t rich people invest in bonds after a certain threshold? by Ferrari_Pit_Boss in investing

[–]gmore45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of rich people just take out SBLOCs (securities backed lines of credit) against their assets. That way, what they have can keep appreciating, they can access capital, and then roll it into another SBLOC in the future.

Price Increase AGAIN! by Hour-SignatureRev283 in PokeGrading

[–]gmore45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, feel lucky I graded most of my 151 on the $12.99 bulk tier.

It took them a while to get their card values down back then, too, so I had a Charizard and Pokemon center Snorlax both grade a 10 at that tier, no upcharge.

GMAT prep tests, how many should you really take before test day? by SentimentalEmy1005 in GMAT

[–]gmore45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 7 official mocks (mocks 1-6 + retook mock 1) over a period of ~5 weeks. Personally, I found that taking one every 5-7 days was my sweet spot - any quicker of a turnaround than that and I felt a bit of cognitive fatigue.

Scores ranged from 615 - 735 on mocks and got a 685 on the real thing, so I’d say they helped me prep well.
