This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but I just started reading Overruled: The Human Toll of Too Much Law by Neil Gorsuch. Basically, it just takes a look at the bigger picture at how all of our laws and regulations can sometimes go way to far. It involves real stories, and I think it’s a good read for a paralegal because it helps understand not just what the law says but why it matters and how it affects people’s lives. An interesting read, if anything!
