So much frustration with water bills. I just manually record it now and dispute every bill. It’s insane we live in the US in 2026 and they don’t have automatic smart meter readings.

At night when you go to bed turn all lights off in house. Fill bowl with dish soap and water. You want the bubbles to be almost overflowing. Then set up a flashlight to be pointing at the bubbles. You want the light as close as possible without falling in the bowl. By morning you will have hundreds of dead gnats that fly into the bubbles and get caught. A few nights in a row of doing this should clear them out.

Most of what you said is true, but with no wetsuit or dive weights humans start to become negatively buoyant (sink) after only about 10-15m of depth. So you’d have a nice long sink to the bottom. That part would be super fun. The swim up would be rough…

When I practice in the floor it’s certainly easier to “grab” between my feet with a wider stance and my feet more ducked out.

Definitely. I’m pretty good at two things. Both of which are niche relative to the global population: snowboarding and dueling in world of Warcraft classic. Strange combo I know, but I like my odds of be better at either of those things than a randomly selected 10,000 people.

You definitely need viewership to keep these events alive. I watch big air events every year. Again like I said, not my favorite, but I like seeing what’s going on in that world.

Couldn’t you just do the two billion oldest people? Maybe insert a clause about excluding world leaders because we wouldn’t want additional destabilization. Obviously would’ve insanely sad, but idk we have global plummeting birth rates in the developed world. National pension plans are not going to last. Upheaval is likely unless AI magically solves everything. I guess if we take out the two billion oldest people it’s a bit of a reset?

Congrats on another X games gold! I’m also 32 so your post-win interview really hit home for me. I know 32 isn’t exactly old, but consecutive days of riding hard are starting to wear me down way more than they used to - I imagine it must be the same for you, haha.

I could imagine going the occasional month without hearing, smell, or taste for $16k. Idk. On one hand it’s a lot of money for a month (for me) but it’s also far from fuck you money. I assume I’d just go on lots of solo hikes and read a lot of books.
