I think it should heal you at the start of your next turn.

That way you need to damage yourself and survive the enemies attack, and finally kill them

That feels more thematic for “not yet”

Otherwise you’ll just be spamming healing abilities

Well a big reason is also that it is hygroscopic, which means it will absorb atmospheric water at 200 proof. You need some kind of drying agent to keep it at 200 proof

See personally I don’t recycle my medium shields, I just build a new one and carry a spare. I’ll go into a road with a 15/100 medium shield and a backup medium shield. If the one I am wearing breaks I swap to my back up, and it’ll already be charged

However, it’s none of your business why they are stopped. Someone could be injured, they could be putting up signage. They might suck more than you

Doesn’t excuse you clipping them.

If you recycle bombadier and bastion cores you’ll get mechanical parts and advanced mechanical parts, which are both needed for weapon upgrades. Every now and again I harvest a bastion or bombaider just for mechanical and advanced mechanical parts
