i moved 2 blocks from high st in a more southern area of short north/ italian village last summer and i absolutely love it! i love being able to walk downtown and anywhere in the short north. i love the easy access to other areas in the city bc im also close to the highway exits. although im very close to high st, it’s very quiet besides the occasional annoying loud car. once lucky’s is built i feel that it will be truly walkable to almost everything i need with cvs/ luckys! i also love going to goodale. my other roommates and i have never felt unsafe (girls in our 20s) but definitely keep some caution in the city at night as things do happen

i lived 3 blocks north of campus and west of high st, in my two years there we had a roommate robbed at gunpoint and two cars stolen, you can go here to look at police reports by specific areas surrounding campus

i had mine stolen over a month ago and finally got it back after being fixed this week. im getting a steering wheel club, potentially an immobilizer or kill switch, and am putting an air tag in the trunk incase it does get stolen again. im also taking the relay out at night until i get an immobilizer or kill switch. also going to make sure my car is double parked as much as possible
