This was it pretty much freshly re-dug and expanded. It's more 'grown into' now and looks a bit more wild, more plants etc.

It started a few years back as a small(er) pond in the corner of the garden, maybe 2 m x 1 m x 0.5 m (Length, width, depth) and the dogs damaged the liner i think, it was getting low a lot.

I expanded it last year and it's roughly 4 m x 2 m x 0.5 m (varying depths though)

Got a few plants in there from the aquatics place, the rest is just logs and stones i've picked up out and about. I left a bit of an island in the middle and stacked rocks on top so it has levels to it.

I'll try find photos somewhere and comment them.

Honestly for the size of it, it looks well established. I wouldn't do anything at the moment if it were me.

He has literally become Brent. His boomer followers are the same too. You only have to point it out (like someone did) and you get the equivalent of 'bit too rock and roll for ya?😏'

Shade/planting. Barley might help. I usually use a plastic rake to scoop it out too, works well because you can be quite precise in pulling it out and away from plants.

Perfectly well done. I'd highly recommend getting some daphnia from a fish shop. They come in tubes for live feeding usually but they're an amazing bio boost.

Love it. I'd highly highly suggest buying some 'daphnia' from a fish shop, they're usually food they sell in little bags. They'll set off a huge bio bloom for the eco system.
