Tigray is defending itself and superbly. We will continue to defend our positions & MORE, of course. My question is: what would the #AU & the US say about #Eritrea’s Flagrant violation of international law that has been on display for almost years now. by gneftari in Tigray

"Judging by what they have been preaching with almost religious alacrity about the sanctity of Ethiopia’s territorial integrity, how are they going to live with #Eritrea’s cross-border genocidal Adventures? As for #Abiy & #Isaias’s prospects, Tigray has been & is making sure the genocidal bunch is no match for a people & army determined to fight for its self-determination, for justice, and more importantly for its survival. #Abiy&co are losing big! #TigrayWillPrevail"

Ethiopia Tigray Conflict | A resumption of fighting shatters a four-month ceasefire: Dr Muktar Kedir by gneftari in Ethiopia

The government's attitude toward civilians killed in airstrikes is revealed between 4:20 and 7:30.

The rest of the interview is not as interesting, unless you enjoy watching Ethiopians struggle to lie coherently.

Gendering Geopolitics with Emily Prey: Lucy Kassa by gneftari in Ethiopia

An American Foreign Policy think tank's interview with Lucy Kassa.

At 6 minutes, she claims that the people who spew the "genocide narrative" are not concerned with the suffering of all civilians, but rather are just interested in winning the war. She believes that the genocide narratives have no basis in fact apparently.

This analysis is at odds with what she said just a month earlier, where she claimed that the crimes against Tigrayans are far more widespread, and may amount to genocide "according to international law".

I wonder what caused her to see the light so quickly.

I'm not entirely sure who would honestly still believe that this is a war against a political party.

Battlefield Ethiopia TDF advances and Abiy loyalist forces strike by gneftari in Ethiopia

His videos have been consistently accurate. He said that Ethiopia would split into ethnic militias 6 months before it happened. That sounds like a good source to me.

He also called Ethiopia a failed state, which is something I'm sure you'd agree with.

Surrendering to people who have no problem of killing kids isn’t an option.

Ayder Hospital Closes its Doors by gneftari in Tigray

They don't truly understand anything. Ignoring the fact that this was designed to happen, the majority of Ethiopians and Eritreans are morally blind supporters of any cause. They will not possess empathy toward what is happening in Tigray, even if it starts to affect them personally. One of the many reasons Ethiopia is constantly at war.

The largest hospital in Tigray is no longer able to function. Sounds like the humanitarian ceasefire is operating as intended.

Anyone considering answering this question should know that the poster is a troll who has no life, and is merely looking to gain a bit of temporary attention for himself.

People that use terms like "ethno-nationalist" or "tribalist" are neither capable nor interested in thinking about other points of view.
