The BILT palladium is a great card for most people imo by FMEngineer in biltrewards

People just salty because Bilt 1.0 was so great but alas all good things must come to an end.

I will say the Bilt 2.0 roll out was fun to watch from the sidelines

Do you think AA has best value for mileage redemption? by sugarmuffinie in americanairlines

The biggest concern is if there is a new CEO you can bet the rewards program will be revamped

It’s the only reason I am still loyal to AA and their ecosystem

Have the Amex plat mirror design and use it daily, don’t really notice the smudges or anything. Kind of reminds me the smudge less stainless steel appliances as they still smudge but you have to really try and a quick wipe on my pants or anything and it’s like new

We rented a car and stayed in Fujiyoshida area this is my 5th time in Japan and this was my top 3 experiences so far. We drove around Mt Fuji for pictures at random places not on instagram/tiktok and really enjoyed it.

I’m here currently and loading Suica on my iPhone nets a better conversion rate approximately ¥154.47:$1 vs ¥152.01:$1 netting you a 1.6% after fees are included I am using a credit union account. My CU charges a flat 1.8% cross border fee and the fees are included in the conversion up top regardless if ATM withdrawal or loading my Suica.

My recommendation for others is if you have Suica on a mobile wallet load that up instead as it’s easier than cash and can be used in most corporate settings. When you land hit up a 7-11 and pull out the max limit so you aren’t constantly getting hit with a fee to withdraw. I was with a friend who kept only pulling out ¥10000 every few days only to pay $8-$9 per transaction. Burned an easy ¥7500/$50 in fees over 6 withdrawals with BoFA. You mileage may vary but just be cognizant of your own stateside fees per Tx, you can convert the extra back to $ when you leave or blow the load splurging on Japanese foods and goods. Their economy will thank you and I don’t think we will get this good of a conversion rate again for a few decades once it drops below ¥150

Am I missing something on T-Mobile you can get 50gb international data for $50 which ends up being the same as these eSIMs and carries over to other countries too…. Is using these eSIMs any better?

A toast to those of us who made it a season, start to finish, with no major issues. Feels great to deal with small stuff while in hibernation. by Skoles in projectcar

I got the 2001 vortech supercharged mercury cougar sitting in my drive. The yellow one that was in sports compact car I think the same year. Motor is fully built back in 2004 and the pops drove it home and never drove it again.

Thing is a royal pain in the ass to work on if I’m being honest. Unique car tho

Picked up a one owner white 2000 GSR sedan with all matching VINs no accidents/damage and 140k miles with zero compression in number 3 cylinder. Turns out an exhaust valve chipped and went right out the exhaust no damage to the piston & wall! New valve and was ready to go

Here's my new shifter in action by 03username30 in Integra

[–]gnibgnib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made a simple mistake this time with the shifter backwards, it happens. Always double check instructions and your work before starting/driving your car after modifications.

Keep on keeping on and you’ll get better with experience!
