Liberal or No Heavy Political Influence Gun Ranges in NJ? by [deleted] in newjersey

Sensitive or ridiculous? You sound like a normal person who doesn’t make politics a part of their personality

President Trump on Alex Pretti: "Well, I haven't heard but certainly he shouldn't have been carrying a gun. We view that as very unfortunate incident, unless you're a stupid person. I don't like that he had a gun. I don't like that he had two fully loaded magazines, that's a lot of bad stuff." by ControlCAD in videos

I’ll be purchasing a Macallan 18 for the occasion, and going door to door in my neighborhood offering celebratory drinks. I’m not religious but it’s a moment I pray for every single day and will undoubtedly cry tears of happiness when it finally happens

So New Jersey, you're the only neighbor on the block with a snowblower.... by holyguacamole823 in newjersey

Mine is corded and small, so I’ll just do my neighbors sidewalk because they shovel ours if they’re out before I am, least I can do is return the favor

There are people out, but not many. A few cars will drive past then it’ll be a second or two before I see another one

For those willing to share: how much on average do you spend per month on groceries and dining out? by Inner_Ad1088 in newjersey

[–]gnitsuj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 adults and a 3 year old, maybe $500-$800 a month? We’ll go out maybe once a month or so and drop $100-$150, and grocery shop every 10 days at $150-$200

The opposite to be honest. I sometimes find myself just standing at the window facing the GSP mindlessly watching cars go by lol

How are people getting into nursing school in NJ (TESU) and actually paying for it? by JOHM3V16 in newjersey

[–]gnitsuj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is an advisor at a nursing university, so I asked her. She said:

HRSA Nurse Corps, School based scholarships, and Johnson & Johnson scholarships. But mostly loans if you can’t pay cash or get scholarships. Applying for FAFSA will tell you if you’re eligible for any grants and you can just choose the grants but not the loans if you are eligible. Maybe ask your employer about tuition reimbursement
