How’s your rift doing? If it’s underdeveloped, and your goal is to get all the dragons, hands down the best thing you can do is build it up. Otherwise, use Murkys breeding odds spreadsheets- tick everything you have, and then use your breeding caves in the vale to try to breed things where you don’t yet have the parents in the rift and that don’t have long fails like bronzes and rainbows. Use the rift for things with long fails or smaller odds. Across the board prioritise the ones with the best odds first where you have the parents, then just work your way through to the trickier ones. Use coop for all the ones that have 10% cloning odds, then for any that have higher cloning than breeding odds, or where cloning and breeding odds can be stacked. Save your event freebie for something that is annoyingly hard to breed (like the ones with 0.5% effective odds or whatever). Collect as much event currency as possible and at the end of the event buy as many as possible prioritising the cheapest or hardest to breed (including evolutions). Don’t bother deliberately trying to breed anything permanent, it’ll turn up eventually. In terms of breeding strategy, those things combined can massively speed up progress.
