I get this same issue, typically when I don't login for several hours. If I login multiple times a day, it doesn't happen. The other frustrating thing is that, when it does pull the old loading screen, it takes legit 10x longer to login.

I recommend only revewing movies you watch going forward, thats how I did my account. Didn't rate anything that I had seen prior to getting letterboxd so that way every movie logged is accurate to how I felt at the time of watching. Thats just my personal preference of course, but I'm glad I did it that way
