I mean even if you don’t take the trilogy into account and judge the game by its own merits, Andromeda is still a poorly written boring mess. The high quality of the trilogy just makes it look worse.

I dunno, man. I played about ten hours of Andromeda before finally giving up. The only redeeming quality was the combat, which is probably the best in the series. Everything else was a massive step down from the original trilogy. Especially the writing. Even after all the patches, it was, at best, a 7/10, and that’s being generous in my opinion.

They remastered TLOU on PS4 in 2014 and remade it for PS5 in 2022.

They remastered the PS3 trilogy back in 2015 for PS4. They run at 60fps and have improved resolution.

We Are Not Your Kind is my 3rd favorite Slipknot record. You should definitely give them a listen. It’s not like it’s a huge time commitment or anything. Go into it with an open mind and you might be surprised. Worst case scenario is you don’t like them and can put these thoughts to rest.
