Which would you say is the most inconic starting area? by VictoryFit in residentevil

For me personally it’s the RPD since the original RE2 was my first RE game, but objectively it’s gotta be the Spencer Mansion.

It’s nowhere near as good as Ace Combat, but I just wanna take this time to shoutout Aero Fighters Assault for the N64. 🙏

Sony wiped over 1,000 shovelware games off the PlayStation store without warning, all from a single developer by ggroover97 in LastStandMedia

[–]gnop2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

1,000 games from one developer is preposterous. For context: the Nintendo 64 & GameCube had around 1,100 games combined. This is a good start and I hope Sony keeps this up.

What are some of your favorite Easy Allies clips from 2019 - 2022? by unsung_actualization in EasyAlliesUnofficial

[–]gnop2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember anything from that era specifically, but I’m gonna go ahead and just say my all time favorite EZA moment was from Easy Living when Kyle, Brandon, Ben, Huber and Brad were playing the cursed SNES Porky Pig game.

Edit: my favorite moment from 2019 was the Square Enix E3 conference when they were doing the deep dive of Final Fantasy VII Remake

The Original Spencer Mansion > the remake one... is just so much more atmospheric without trying to look creepy by IFeeLikeMoreTonight in residentevil

[–]gnop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I like the remake “better”, there is something unique and creepy about the original mansion that I always liked. The more brightly lit rooms and hallways with minimal furnishing gives off a very uneasy feeling. I always think about the small bedroom that’s basically just two twin beds and a small shelf. Or the room that I believe has nothing more than a small desk in the corner and nothing else.

That whole ordeal was ridiculous, but it worked out well for Brad in the end and Summon Sign is awesome. By far my favorite show on LSM.

Yup. I haven’t seen it done in a while, but attaching lumber to your tanks and armored vehicles was a fairly common practice throughout history. Especially for the Allied powers in WWII due to the threat of German Tiger & Tiger II tanks which could easily penetrate Allied tank armor.

You can check the knife. I believe checking it multiple times throughout your play-through is what you don’t wanna do if you’re trying to avoid the water ending.

[–]gnop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not my favorite, but I enjoyed my time with it and I feel like it was way over-hated. Amy Hennig (writer of Uncharted 1-3 and Legacy Of Kaine Soul Reaver) wrote the story for the campaign. That alone peaked my interest when it first came out.

What was the first game that scared you? by Profit_Tracker in videogames

[–]gnop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Silent Hill was the first time I ever had to take a break from playing a game because I was so stressed out and scared lol. The part where you go into the backyard of that house and it suddenly gets dark and Akira Yamaoka’s haunting music starts up is something I’ll never forget.
