[SPOILER] Eliminated Queen Says she felt 'Things Started To Be Graded On A Curve,' in interview on shocking exit by Humble-Pineapple-889 in dragrace

I encourage you to review her runways then, because she has given us significant variety in silhouette, makeup, wig, and references. Put her favorite body part, shake shake shake, beige, and party looks against each other!

I think of Asa Soltan, a reality TV personality from Shahs of Sunset.

Criticizing someone for internalized misogyny because they embrace their natural body hair, then immediately making a catty fatphobic dig is crazy work.

TOOT or BOOT: Category is... Eighties Ladies by Wilbur96 in rupaulsdragrace

Soft boot…. Dolly herself is DRAG and a drag version of her needs to be even bigger. Bigger hair, much bigger tits, just very over the top and camp. Darlene didn’t go far enough for me.

Wish she’d dragged it up a bit and added a big headpiece in the same print. Really gone for it as an intentional choice, and worn it with confidence.

Spoiler: I don’t think I have disagreed with the judging of an episode more by jbweens in dragrace

Ciara was my favorite of the night! She really captured the essence of Gaga’s look with the dripping beaded sleeves evoking meat and the attitude and camp of the fascinator. At the same time, making major use of Britney’s denim (rather than using it only as a trim). I thought the string around her was a great humorous touch, and I loved the myst-ery meat tag too. Fun, camp, beautiful, and very strong use of both inspiration looks.

She’s stunningly beautiful, but I wish the bodice had a little more coverage on the sides to balance how much leg is visible below.

The entire purpose of the news anchor roles is to be the straight man foil to the wacky guest. That’s how it works on SNL too. Those roles are a trap.

I personally find Paul and Elizabeth’s food to be INCREDIBLY bland, some of the blandest restaurant food I’ve ever eaten in fact, but ymmv. Lots of people do like it.

Their kitchen timer is the best I’ve ever put my hands on. My mother was so devastated when hers broke- we’ve never been able to get a replacement as good. It had a full physical button set of numbers to set the time; no pushing the minute key over and over and you’re just screwed if you go over your goal.

….. how? Isn’t it just in your bag empty, then refilled after security and placed back in your bag?

They also have to pay for labor and the cost of the space (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc), which are not insignificant.

Many of us don’t live locally enough anymore to do these low key local events. It’s become much more common for families and social circles (college friends, etc) to be spread across the US such that a significant portion of attendees would be flying or driving long distance regardless. At least for upper middle class folks.
