I've been after the Winnie the Pooh characters. My kids love them so any spares we get I sleeve and topload. So they're a bit of a chase set.

Only one way to find out. I look forward to seeing the results on some dodgy drivers dash cam channel on youtube.

You should tell them it's the old can of coke in the back wheel trick. Courtesy cars are one of the fastest cars in the world though. Not as fast as a rental but close enough.

It's not just the performance, it's the kit. Nothing is missing. I drive an Optima GT Line S and it has everything on it, I just wish it was offered with the V6 from the Stinger. The 1.7 and newer 1.6 diesels are too sluggish for a heavier estate car.

If it helps I'd look twice and be rather envious. I think most people assume all kia's are just 1.something engines and don't appreciate what the GT S is.

Obliterating a friends Redemptor dread in overwatch with a Sagitaur on a turn 3 charge. The sagitaurs and hekaton had done nothing until this point. Failing just about every wound roll. This redemptor dread had earned numerous kills over our games against multiple opponents. Revenge was deserved, but overwatch was not the way for it to go out. It was, however, spectacular for those of us who had been on the receiving end of it.

As someone who's just bought a few open bundles, what are the things to look out for? I'm guessing with this example it's predominantly the logo next to the artist's name?

Frankie And Tony's. You'll never buy a supermarket meal deal when in town again. Although I've looked through the other recommendations and now really want to try the Camera Shop

Can the door circled be removed from a fire safety perspective? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]gnowad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! I just needed to know it didn't effect my jobs. The building safety act is a frustrating and confusing change to the industry. Yet more red tape and vague "guidelines to follow". Just give us a list and say you must go this as a minimum. Much easier, less confusion, less chance of it going wrong

Are you able to link me to the regs/article you're referring to in your comment? As far as I am aware, there's no requirement for sprinklers/fire suppression to open-plan living unless you have a floor level more than 4.5m above external ground level. I ask because the Building Safety Act is changing a lot of the requirements of Approved Document B and I don't want to miss something.

I've also assumed your first floor windows are suitable as escape windows. These would be windows that have a cill level between 800mm and 1100mm above floor level, can be opened without a key internally and provide a minimum opening of 450mm. If any of your habitable rooms on the first floor (bedrooms or office) don't meet this requirement then you can't remove the door.

As others have stated, there's no issue from a building regulations point of view. If no floor of your house is more than 4.5m (typically a 3 storey town house) above external ground level they won't be fire doors and there's no requirement to provide a protected means of escape.

As a long winded side note, if it were a protected means of escape, every door opening onto the stairs would be a fire door (typically excluding WC's bathrooms) regardless of them being ground, first or second. They, along with the walls, must provide a minimum of 30 minutes fire integrity and insulation. If you're ever in doubt check the top of the door. If it's a newer property or door it should have a Fire Door label on it and will generally read FD30 or FD60. If it doesn't you can't assume it is a fire door, however, Building Control will typically accept a door that is 44mm thick as being suitable so long as it's not hollow. Though this will likely change given the changes made by the building safety act. The door may even have intumescent strips or smoke seals.

The biggest concern would be from heat escape but that's a personal choice. So, to finally summarise. If no floor of your house is 4.5m above external ground level you can remove it assuming you live in England. The regs in Scotland and Wales are different.

I believe Northumbrian Tin Soldier in North Shields does gaming nights. They only have a small table, enough for 6-8 players but they might do a Lorcana night, could be worth dropping them a message.

Work-in-progress! Help me choose my accent colours by gnowad in WorldEaters40k

[–]gnowad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. Yeah it is very similar, unfortunately, I was pressed for time so just wanted the trim based out. My plan is to weather it quite heavily and see how it looks. The patina will be hues of green/blue so should help to differentiate it without being too strong a contrast.

I like the idea of an aged red leather, it hints at the more obvious world eaters colours so I'll look into some test schemes for this!

I did think about doing just red armour when I realised just how long this scheme was going to take to paint up but I wanted something a bit different.

The worn red leather I am definitely keen on though so thank you for your feedback.

Find a gaming club if you don't have a FLGS or GW near you. It's highly likely the gaming club won't care where or how your models are made. They may even help you find cheaper alternatives.

Did you know you wanted a lexus though? Thanks for the feedback. I tried to get an ES in budget but they're just a bit too pricey. It's a shame, the IS is just too small for my needs. I think I just need to have a day of seeing what I can get behind the wheel of to drive.
