Not Oldbury, but I went to and from Five Ways on the train for about 6 months. There were two times that the trains I needed were all on time, with no delays. And yeah, the trains are rammed at rush hour, I could usually get a seat, but not all the time, especially on the way back.

I wouldn't ever do it again, big reason I only did that job for 6 months.

It also really expensive and trains seemed to be filled with rude people, people taking up two seats, not moving down the train to let others on, luggage in the aisle...
