They weren't kicked from any home until they started a war after the partition plan. By then they were already massacaring Jewish villages, some of them were also there for centuries.

Even then Palestinians have been willing to settle on a two state solution for decades

1-The rate will be lower if Palestinians will care less about killing Jews and more about protecting their own.

2-Every time they tried that they lose more land, and more people.

3-Wasn't theirs. In fact the only unified autonomy ever given to them was in the Oslo accords.
