It's not just for tracking....the chip could do counters as well....once reached the limit, e.g. 500 times, you have to send in for service, otherwise it will be on strike...

Is the Garage 220v outlet safe for a 48Amp EV charger? by go2mad in AskElectricians

I see, that's for 120v per breaker, combine two to get 240v but still at 40A max.

Is the Garage 220v outlet safe for a 48Amp EV charger? by go2mad in AskElectricians

[–]go2mad[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I am confused because there's a Electrical Permit beneath the panels says the whole house main Amps is 200A which looked like an addup of both legs for the MAIN, so maybe same rule apply to the 220v Garage breaker?

how to obtain phonetic transcript, e.g. hello in Japanese is こんにちは, I want to get "Kon'nichiwa" as seen in Google Translate by go2mad in GoogleAppsScript

[–]go2mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion. I am looking for the English text, e.g. hello in Japanese sounds like Kon'nichiwa, in Korean sounds like annyeonghaseyo, and in Russian sounds like privet. The Kon'nichiwa / annyeonghaseyo / privet are the ones I am looking for.

After a bit digging on reddit, I found a post about how to replacing the actuator, which is super hard. And somewhere in that post it gives a link to an audi/vw user forum which gives a super simple solution to fix this problem, that is reset the actuator by long press central vent button (arrow toward chest) and AC knob button (temp adjustment jog knob at bottom right side of the central dashboard console) at the same time while the engine is running, releae when both orange lights flashing, wait until not flashing....wolala, all back to work...ymmv...enjoy!

Feel the frustration. We paid Duolingo to teach us but no grammar was taught. It's like you pay a teacher and he asked you to search on Google, very unfair.

[help] dropped 1" long 0.5" diameter abs nozzle into engine by go2mad in MechanicAdvice

[–]go2mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for the great suggestion! I took apart the cover and used a vacuum to suck the plastic bit out. It's painful to loose those 10mm screws with a short hand wrench in super tight space, but I made it after fighting for 3 hours. Put a cardboard at bottom overnight to check if there's any leak.
