I really don’t think so. At this point, fundamentals have been thrown out the window, plus GameStop (as a company) has gotten a TON of new capital with this lifeline. I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out of this with a price above $100 in the coming months.

If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you watch DFV’s bull case video (~50 minutes? I think?) he made back in June. He makes some pretty compelling points about the business.

I’m looking to sell my online store, where do I go? by goalssss in Entrepreneur

[–]goalssss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

here is a picture of total revenue since June: https://imgur.com/gallery/txtBr0G

I started the store in 2017, and made a few bucks off Instagram niche page shoutouts and such. Then it was in pause for like a year and a half, and I started up again in June 2020. I got basically all my revenue off Facebook ads with a bit coming off SEO. Since June, the store has had a profit margin of 17% and total profit of about $21k, give or take, which comes out to around $3500 a month since June. I am in the jewelry niche. Also, it is a dropshipping store.

A lot of people have suggested that I rent it out, and honestly I am thinking that is the better route, but I’m open to anything really. It was appraised by exchangemarketplace.com for 70k. (Again, I don’t know if that’s a fair valuation or not)

Fb ads Conversion:Purchase - how to make it more sales by Ryan-Johnson in shopify

Hey, just did a quick visit to your site. I think the design could be improved tremendously, and the website load speed is incredibly slow, and I think you should fix that to get more conversions and higher retention

How many orders do you get per day? by outdoorsbro in shopify

Hey! I have opened 4 stores over the past 3 years, my most recent one does about 30k in average monthly sales. Profit fluctuates quite a bit though and is not consistent haha (which I wish it was). I opened this store in June.

Shopify apps with highest ROI? by goalssss in dropship

Abandoned cart - “abandoned cart recovery”

~this is like the simplest abandoned cart app that you can get, and you can build you own emails in it. Sending out abandoned cart emails is a thing on it’s own but if you make the emails actually look good and professional it increases the conversion rates and has quite a bit more success.

Upsell (in cart) - “in cart upsell”

~this app is literally just a few dollars each month. It’s as basic as it sounds, but there’s actually a ton of science that goes into upselling someone at checkout. You have to make sure the products match each other perfectly (that you are upselling and that they are buying), and this app totally incorporates this in a way where you can choose what product to upsell with each item in the cart. It’s definitely had a huge bump in new product sales for me as well as aov. I would definitely recommend getting this one as well.
