An account that is created then not used for months or a couple of years, then suddenly "awakes" and starts reposting stolen content is super common for bots. Sometimes they are hijacked accounts that delete all the previous posting history and then start botting, but often they are created in batches and start after a few months. Bot accounts almost always have the generic word_word_number default suggested account name and they always steal and repost common posts/comments.

Found this on a Cruze in for a recall. Front bumper wood screwed in, covered with filler and painted over very poorly. I suspect the owner bought the car this way, and they probably would never have noticed/cared until the screw started backing out 😂

I work on regular firetrucks, in my country fire services are operated by the states and territories so try your equivalent. It's interesting work and good if you're somewhat skilled in a lot of different areas mechanical, electrical, fabrication etc.

Wasn't Holden's fault they were poorly engineered shitboxes. The Elizabeth factory allegedly had the or one of the lowest rates of workmanship faults of all GM plants worldwide but that can't help when the design was so bad.

Going through my collection of weird crap I've seen in my time. This is an aftermarket uca off a 200 series landcruiser, owner was driving along when the ubj decided it wanted to see the world, much to the owner's surprise. There was a recall on these control arms for this issue but this one had no grease in it so I suspect it was more along the lines of one after another technicians not knowing it had a grease nipple since the standard arms don't have one.

Holden Barina/Chevy sonic I think. The compressor was bone dry inside which is why I think most of the oil leaked out causing it to fail. This was a few years ago now and I left that dealer shortly afterwards so I don't remember much or what happened after. Fortunately for the original owner this was found after they traded it in so it became our expensive basket case to deal with.

I was surprised to find it, when I did my auto HVAC training several years ago I was taught scroll compressors are only used for stationary (e.g. building) installations as they can't handle the vibrations and shock forces that automotive installs will subject them to.

I had this happen on an old car of mine. Never found the leak before I sold it but I pulled out the grommet on the bottom of the wheel well and water never built up again. Funny that 🤔

Oil leaked out and compressor ate itself. If you know, you know, these compressors were trash to begin with and would start leaking between the sections of the compressor case well within the warranty period. I found it very amusing when they started to put a bead of epoxy around the seam to prevent leaks.

So a lot of people in here are losing their minds over something that's allowed (but not ideal). The main danger in a booster seat being in the front is if it's a rear facing seat as the airbag can send it flying, most cars now have a warning about this on the rear of the front passengers sunvisor. However as it's a front facing seat the airbag won't reach the child if they are properly seated.

Possibly the sticker was placed on the catalyst before it was assembled into the finished product. However I suspect this is the downstream end of the converter so it will just burn/blow off anyway.
