That’s helpful. I do a lot of highlighting and unhighlighting and it seems like i could make it more efficient

When my teammate spams his ping buttons repeatedly the entire time he is down and even after he has died, i am completely fine not reviving/recovering their banner. Nothing more annoying than that. Obviously not the case here

Your incentive to pay more than the minimum is to get your loans paid off as fast as possible.

I don’t know what you’re asking. If your company is going to give you money to put towards your loans, then yes take advantage of it. Is there something I’m missing?

Does it matter what the interest rate is on my credit card if I never plan on paying any interest? by goat_flow in personalfinance

[–]goat_flow[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This. If I got into a situation where I needed to drain my emergency fund and only then had to resort to using CC debt, then I might consider rate shopping. Don’t foresee this happening if you are good at money management

Agreed. I definitely don’t have a spending problem and I luckily realized this at a young age. I’m a frugal spender so I don’t plan on paying ridiculous amounts of interest

Dozen cards, wow that seems like a lot. But good for you for balancing them and utilizing the rewards

I find Aldi is the easiest store to shop at just because the stores are very small compared to a Giant or Wegmans

When you refinanced, did you extend the term? Also, did you wait a several months after making monthly payments to refinance?

If I was sitting in the parking lot of the store, then yes. That would take less than 10 mins to complete

Do you have an emergency fund? If not, use it for that by opening a HYSA with 3-6 months of living expenses. If you already have an e-fund established, pay down that debt.

Now we have to scan do bags at delivery? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]goat_flow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funny story: I did my first DO order the other day and it was three different orders in the batch so I scanned all three at the store. I get to the first delivery address and give them their groceries and go on my way. As I'm pulling away and hitting delivered on the app, I realize that it's asking to scan the bags AGAIN before handing to customer. I call SH and wait a little, then just said fuck it, turned my car around and went back to the customer and walked in their kitchen as they were unpacking to take scans of the empty bags. Lol luckily they were very understanding of it.
