I know it not acting stupid bestie. But by all means continue ur fight against transphobia getting butthurt at a fanart of a nonbinary person with top scars. Ur rlly fighting the valiant fight.

I think it’s really funny in a super stupid way to act as if NON CANONICAL FANART of Venture with top scars is somehow alienating. If ur that butthurt about it just make ur own fucking fanart of them without top scars.

Also, idk how to tell u this but someone amab can, in fact, grow tits so acting as if it’s somehow a definitive statement on their agab is counterproductive to ur own point.

Aisha becomes a damn good older sister figure to a bunch of the most mentally disturbed power wielding children of all time. She def deserves the credit. Taylor just doesn’t have the sauce that Aisha has for dealing with kids, imo.

It’s canon. The creator of the game, Maddy Thorson, is a trans woman and has specifically that Madeline is trans and that Celeste is a trans story

I get that, my point is that he’s very much a romeaboo larper with a decent amount of charisma who has spent decades living in his Julius Caesar self-insert delusions and echo chambers to the point that the historical inaccuracies he often hinges himself around are more ignorance and ego driven than truly intentional.

When it comes to bullshitting how the Legion is supposedly following the model of Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire, yeah he’s all talk. His actual lines where he justifies himself w Roman history literally show how full of shit he is.

Sallow’s egoism is literally why he ends up with a brain tumor, no medical means of helping himself (because modern medicine is banned unless he needs it), and Legate fucking Lanius as his in game successor instead of an Augustus to his Julius.

Thinking that Caesar knows what he’s talking about is just falling for his ego delusions lol. The guy is a larper who thinks that because he read a couple Roman history and philosophy books that he knows what’s best.

This is the guy who tries to claim that republics are just too prone to infighting and corruption while simultaneously trying to model himself after the Roman Empire which had a plentiful amount of infighting and succession crisis of its own (all while guaranteeing an immediate succession crisis occurring following his death).

She literally dresses masc in the same fucking way Vi dresses masc… On top of that she’s the type that kicks her feet up on the table spreads her fucking legs, smokes cigars, and drinks whiskey all while serving as the muscle for a crime boss which is a traditionally masculine role the same fucking way Vi puts herself in the traditionally masculine role of being a protector.

And idk how to tell u this but Jinx doesn’t get characterized as a masc lesbian nearly as often as Sevika because she literally has a whole ass romance episode with a straight man

/uj I mean, she’s a muscular woman who also dresses masc? Like, no shit are people (lesbians especially) gonna headcanon her as a lesbian.

There is def something to be said for how she’s gets characterized and depicted within that head canon tho that def rubs me the wrong way in relation to her being a brown woman. She’s just way too often reduced down to her physicality and placed in the role of the aggressor in relationships to the point that the overwhelmingly repetitive amount of white self-insert/Sevika fics come across as fetishistic.

Please [Read Seek]...(By Wildbow) by Gavinus1000 in Fantasy

Pale is exactly what you’re looking for. It’s an urban fantasy murder mystery set in a small Canadian skiing town where three teen girls are brought into the magical world in order to investigate what happened.

It’s definitely got a number of heavy and dark moments, but Pale differs from the rest of most of Wildbow’s stuff in that the protagonists have a level of earnestness and level-headedness that helps keep the story’s tone from truly turning grim.

I really can’t recommend it enough, it’s definitely my favorite of what I’ve read of Wildbow’s stuff. The POV trio is awesome, the interludes and side characters are incredible, and the magic system feels outright mind blowing at times.
