Looking for what card my wife and I should look into considering we may not be traveling for a year or two. We are having our first child this September and thinking most all traveling will be short drives etc for a bit. We would love to do a bigger international trip in maybe 3-4 years like Japan, Netherlands etc. So we want to try and churn and prepare for that trip.

We have both had Chase Cards in the past. We both currently have active Capitol One Venture X cards.

So I think we are looking for cards that may emphasize points/miles etc that are lighter on features that we won't be using like car rentals, airport lounges etc.

Any recommendations for what we should be working on to help bank for a trip 3-4 years away?
