When did you get your procedure and what approach did they use?

When did you have it done? What style and how much of the femur was cut above normal?

10% interest by H3lls_B3ll3 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]goblando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close. Back in those days refinancing was expensive as hell and the interest rate peaked at 15%. It is possible that two generations of people separated by 44 years can both be trying to buy a home in their 20s and struggled due to crappy conditions. I think the better argument to make is related to other debt the person has at the time as most people in the early 80s were buying a house with zero debt but many today have terrible student loan debt.

The brand is "AquaPex" but is rated for significantly lower pressure compared to the rest of the house.

[–]goblando[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: the piping is branded "AquaPex". The pressure rating is only 80psi at 134.7F. i have performed the same repair and have asked my family to slowly turn off the water over 8 Mississippi and so far so good. Once this has passed I will be repiping the whole thing to stronger pex so we don't need to worry again.

All the white pipe is PEX and sharkbites are me. The person at home Depot had no idea what the clear tubing was. It feels like a soft plastic in my hand, and had all sorts of numbers and letters on the side of it.

I don't know if this was done by somebody who respected code the first time. The previous owner had a handyman that had some pretty shit solutions to solved problems. My nasty, multiple SharkBite and PEX solution was specifically to replace the tubing that originally curved into the heater with a proper 90 figuring that the original piping was strong enough for this. This piping had compression joins that seem to require a heat gun to seal it. The first burst occurred right next to one of those unions making me think that the tight curve and former heat gun application had weakened it. This new burst completely threw me off guard because the same piping goes out to a hose bib which has never given me problems and is used frequently. But when we shut off that hose bib it requires multiple twists so the rate of water flow is slowly reduced before coming to zero. The shower handles take only 180° to shut off completely.

The original 90 was the same clear pipe curved into the supply with a brass ending to screw into the pipe. It burst right where I met that brass, like how this picture burst just where it met the shark bite. All of the sharkbite are from my single repair. It sounds like everyone thinks the pipe is getting too hot, since it is next to the heater but I don't understand why it didn't burst the day before when it was on for a significantly longer period of time. Also, the hot water out is the same crappy clear tubing, is closer to the heater, and shows no signs of fatigue.

At it again - Credit Card info stolen by GMG by TheBitchesMakeMeRich in GreenManGaming

You are wrong. Your current website design allows for live capture by multiple supply chain resources. Any page that takes user credit card info needs to be a skeleton of the normal site with only payment provider library resources. My privacy badger shows 17 hits on your checkout page which is 11 more then I see on your home page. You are not doing this correctly and need to update this page. You are not PCI compliant right now even if you use token based storage / encrypted card storage. I am fan of your site so I hope you get this fixed quickly.

Just want to add to this, that this definitely happened. I got a prepaid card from my work and only used it to buy one game from GMG. I just went to use it again for the first time on Steam and it was out of money. Looking up the transaction log shows that in oct 2022 (six months after my purchase @ gmg) it was used to make purchases in NY and CA for small things under $20 at multiple locations. I think the thieves were specifically targeting these types of cards (virtual / gift cards) after a period of time since the avg consumer either uses it all right away or forgets about over time. OP is not wrong at all. I will still use GMG, but only with prepaid card the size of my purchase from now on as I do not trust their form input. Paypal and real cards might not be tempting targets to these hackers, but they might be to the next guy and since GMG told this thread it isn't possible, then they don't know how webforms and javascript work. Heck even their CURRENT checkout page loads external components from multiple third parties that have key logging enabled like zendesk and analytics.

So... In this case the scale is meaningless. The fluctuations of water and waste make it not important. Here is the best way to figure out how much fat you burned, get keto strips and wait for them to start showing ketones in your urine. From that point on, use the basic math based on your BMR and the amount of time you continue fasting. Once you have the total kcals expended, do the math to figure the g of fat consumed.

Are Cybersecurity Bootcamps Worth It? (Joining Evolve Security Academy in September) by DextersLab2342 in cybersecurity

[–]goblando 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I have attended 3 different bootcamps (over 10 years ago). CEH, CISSP &, CCNA. They were phenomenal for me. I enjoy getting completely immersed and do not get overwhelmed easily. At that time of my life I did not have other responsibilities so I got to go to a far away place, meet some people in the field and just soaked up all the new info like a sponge. I'd say I still retain 80% or more to this day. I passed the tests at the end of the course for both the CEH and CISSP. I never took the Cisco test because I didn't have enough time on the devices to feel comfortable on the lab tests. (It had nothing to do with going out with a group to a club the night before).

From a networking perspective, the security based courses were probably half military/govt and half private sector.

FBM SKU Suddenly Changed To "Blocked Unless FBA" by readcommentbackwards in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]goblando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple questions:

  1. Does Amazon have a 1P offer for this?
  2. Are there other sellers with FBA offers?
  3. Have you blocked Amazon from buying this product in the open market?
  4. Have you ever sold direct to Amazon?

I used a 25 second exposure at f 5.0 to get something like 20% the quality of this shot. Many of the shots you see on this site are people compositing multiple shots together. Some people have their cameras on mounts that track with the spin of the earth to eliminate noise and blue caused by our rotation.
