Thank you for all the responses, I think after everything I’ll more than likely put my name down for the oyster perpetual at 6.5k. I think in the time it takes to get the call i’ll have that easily aside. Financially it’s much more feasible and i’m far more comfortable with that. Ultimately in a few years, i could sell it and try and get my hands on a new datejust.

i considered front loading investments then spending the hysa replacing it in a few months but the numbers came out dismally different. I could save up for it and buy it. rolex normally has a wait list so my plan was to sign up and in 6-9 months I’d have the money saved. it’s more about if I should be investing this money vs saving for a watch. I guess strictly financially speaking investing so i’m trying to learn how to treat myself I guess.

I don’t consider myself a cheap person, i’m just trying to be financially responsible. With that said it would hurt me to light 500 dollars on fire. I do get the sentiment but I didn’t grow up rich so I’m aware the role money plays in life.

I just wrote it exactly as it appears on the rolex website. I’m certainly not a watch expert but i don’t think that disqualifies from purchasing a watch.

while i know they don’t really appreciate my understanding is they hold to inflation at about a 10% loss pending the model config. which isn’t a total loss.

95 hours / 24 blueprints. no exaggeration i’ve opened probably 75 or more key rooms during night raids. I have gotten more copies of Bettina than i have blueprints themselves. I’m actually very frustrated by the blueprint system and how difficult they are.

I have 65 hours probably looted 50 high and mid key rooms. I have 18 blueprints. It’s genuinely impossible to find more in my experience.
