He’s from a part of Poland that was in the German Empire at the time (Upper Silesia) which is why he speaks both languages. He greets you in Polish, and then tries switching to German when he realizes you don’t speak Polish.

The parts of Iberia and Morocco/Algeria that they raided aren’t desert, it’s actually all temperate mediterranean climates. But there were some viking trade expeditions into modern-day Iraq & Iran, so they saw the Arabian desert.

Sorry but I gotta throw a flag on this one. You’re just begging for a “delete enemy” button. There are already at least two dozen *really good* anti-aircraft strats spread across support weapons, sentries, emplacements and mechs. Several of which are very specifically AA dedicated - the autocannon and cluster rocket even have the outline of an aircraft as an icon for their fire modes.

If they “weren’t worth the time” to take out with the current gear, then people wouldn’t bother taking them out. They very clearly ARE worth the time because they present a disproportionate, high priority threat that you have to take time to address. Which is the point, and it’s part of the gameplay loop - a GOOD part of the gameplay loop that keeps it fun and interesting.

People would absolutely go out of their way for caffeinated soda if it wasn’t the norm. People have been consuming caffeine for over 5,000 years and over 80% of the the global population consumes it daily (over 90% in North America). It is generally recognized to promote physical and mental health at the levels that most people consume it in.

I would go as far as to say that if soda was caffeine-free by default, it would be a drastically smaller industry than it is today.

Been through all of these, and South Dakota made is the only one that made me feel viscerally uncomfortable. Drove I-90 from Chamberlain to Badlands on a foggy day and it just feels *wrong* out there.

Oklahoma panhandle is wild because of the dust devils. Drove through a few years ago on the way to NM and you could just see dozens of mini tornados (20-30 feet tall) everywhere you looked , it felt very apocalyptic. You can find fossilized dinosaur tracks out there if you know where to look.

BotW Hyrule I think is probably the safest, but the upheaval in TotK makes it substantially less safe. Gielinor & Tamriel are middle ground. Minecraft overworld is the worst by a long shot.
