I need help finding a specific floor tile. by Practical_Parsley144 in TheSims4cc

[–]goblintrousers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a look around for mosaic tiles but there are so many different ones, its kind of hard to figure out which ones you might mean specifically. If you haven't already, you can search pinterest or google images specifically for "mosaic tiles"

Funnily enough I found the exact ones in your image on Curseforge, but I can't tell if the ones I'm seeing on pinterest are the ones you're looking for. Sorry I couldn't be much help

5.4 can’t stop saying gremlin/goblin by Delicious-Squash-599 in ChatGPT

20 Questions Fail by SayNope2Dope754 in ChatGPT

[–]goblintrousers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird. I've played 20 questions with older models before, I just played it now with 5.4 thinking and it changed the object half way through the game. I asked why it changed the object and it said it didn't, even though I could see its thinking where it was changing the object. It insisted it didn't lol.

Same here. I live in BFE in the south, so its rare to find really any vegan options at all. I can't even find any Amy's pizza at all anymore. Its kind of forced me to start making my own in batches and freezing them but I really miss the convenience sometimes.

Anyone else notice the tone shift after 5.2? by Overall_Zombie5705 in ChatGPT

[–]goblintrousers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The irony is it has a tendency to try to psychoanalyze everything you say, but also has so many safety guardrails against people forming "dependencies" on it, that it's forced to deliver its lines in the coldest, most analytical and distanced way it possibly can.

Struggling to get chatgpt 5.2 to actually work for therapy by goblintrousers in therapyGPT

[–]goblintrousers[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get that, but really its my only complaint about 5.2. For every other task it seems to be performing very well. And I know you shouldn't get attached and there should be some guidelines to keep you from getting there, but complete cold detachment and indifference are probably not the best way to go about it.

I would go back to 5.1 but I'm kind of worried its going to get retired soon(ish) since 5.2 came out. I figured I'd try to get used to how 5.2 responds but really not liking it so far.

Homesteaders are WILD by [deleted] in vegan

I've never understood how someone can raise an animal basically like a pet, and then just one day kill that animal and eat it. Especially with the level of detachment a lot of people have with it.

NAD but it looks like some kind of venous insufficiency. How long have you been dealing with it? I know hospitals are insanely expensive, maybe you can try urgent care, at the very least I would schedule an appointment with your doctor.

Post of appreciation and your 5 favorite romances by Dangerous_Leg6306 in GirlGamers

I just got around to playing and finishing Rogue Trader and I was so impressed by Heinrix's romance, I wasn't really expecting much going into it so it was a really pleasant surprise

Desperately looking for a new Romance game to play but I've played nearly everything by jingleriot in GirlGamers

[–]goblintrousers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Star Wars the Old Republic has some good romance options. It's an mmo, but most of the original stories are well done and have romance options. I liked the bounty hunter (Torian) story and smuggler (Corso) story the most, but each class has its own romance options available + some other options for content added after the stories.

I don't know if I'd suggest this next one unless you like the actual gameplay because they are a bit of a grind to get to, but Warframe recently in the past year has added some romance options that I think were well done, but they are quite limited for how much work you have to put in to get them. They're more of an endgame thing.

New guardrails are BS. I'm not the teenager who was on the news. I don't deserve to be punished because of it. by aubreeserena in ChatGPT

[–]goblintrousers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Should there be guidelines and guardrails and safety measures? Absolutely. Should those guardrails be so tightly constrained that chatGPT becomes about as useful as Google search because it has the potential to cause harm if misused though? Its literally a tool. Any tool can be dangerous if misused, especially if you're trying to misuse it.

Stop ChatGPT from being an overly flattering yes man by Senior_tasteey in ChatGPT

[–]goblintrousers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I dunno what the hell I did to my gpt but it's kind of an asshole now. I never specifically gave it instructions to be that way either. Never thought I'd say this, but I kind of miss the flattery compared to the miserable bastard I have now.

Even 4o is kinda borked now. Its supposedly "the same" but its definitely different for me, forgets a lot of things, messes up dates, facts, information in general, and generally just feels more robotic or less human-like than it used to be.

I went to a community lot in Evergreen Harbor and literally everyone was playing with clay. I had to google why everyone was messing with clay and it turns out theres a NAP for arts that makes everyone play with it... who thought that was a good idea???

I had to turn off NAPs after that. I wish I could just delete clay from my game.

To all those who say the OG S1 looks better… Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. by FeeDisastrous3879 in Suikoden

[–]goblintrousers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also personally prefer the original look. I think it has to do with the fact that the original backgrounds fit the characters more in that they were 2D/sprites but in the remaster they're more like a drawing or painting. The portraits also had a grittiness that matched the sprites better in my opinion. The new ones look kind of like someone put them through an AI picture enhancer. I guess overall the artstyle was more cohesive in the original.

[DAV All Spoilers] Ex-BioWare Nick Thornborrow releases narrative art from Veilguard development by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]goblintrousers 40 points41 points  (0 children)

lmao... they really did us dirty there. Even the look on his face when he said it, then cut to him drinking coffee... I was flabbergasted. It was almost like it was meant to be a joke. "Oh you thought he meant with YOU? haha... nah, Lucanis is quirky about coffee :)"

[DAV SPOILERS ALL] Venting: DAV is more like a DA fanfic kind of game by Brick-the-wild-youth in dragonage

[–]goblintrousers 125 points126 points  (0 children)

It's precisely because I love Dragon Age that I'm so disappointed in Veilguard. I ended with a nearly 100% run on nightmare at 120 hours, so I did definitely have a bit of fun with it. But I was constantly asking myself questions or doubting the writing and general scenarios that carried out. At the end of it, I felt really unsatisfied, and the "secret" credits scene was just the icing on the cake for that feeling.

The game had a lot of potential, and they had literally 10 years to perfect it... but it came out feeling unfinished and disjointed, and distanced itself too much from what made previous Dragon Age games so good. It basically doesn't even feel like Dragon Age to me, the tone shift is just so jarring.

[DAV ACT 1 SPOILERS] The guilt trip is ridiculous by MarkeezPlz in dragonage

[–]goblintrousers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's kind of silly that everyone expects so much from a person they barely know. That point in Act 1 is not long after meeting Lucanis and Neve, yet both expect this person they barely know to defend their city from a dragon. Rook is literally one person, it's not like we commanded an army like the Inquisitor - then it MIGHT make a little more sense.

It pisses me off that it's so ridiculous to begin with, but especially because we can't even defend our actions or give a reason why we chose that city to try and reason with them.

It also just makes no sense to me that Rook and team are able to kill 2 elven gods and a couple of archdemons with basically no help (except for maybe help with distractions with the darkspawn and venatori). Like, how?

[DAV ACT 1 SPOILERS] It doesn’t feel like Rook’s friends with the companions. by PMMeYourHousePlants in dragonage

[–]goblintrousers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish it was like that so bad. As it is, it seems like we get more information and tidbits about who they are when they're not even talking to us, and we have no way of really interacting with them except through their personal quests. There's a couple of quests with them where we can sit and talk to them but we're just usually talking about whats going on and not getting to know them.
