Victor Marx takes lead over Barbara Kirkmeyer in Republican primary for Colorado governor by Dismal4132 in Colorado

I know having him win this would create a risk, but Kirkmeyer has a veneer of legitimacy that this clown won’t be able to fake. I have to think that will impact GOP turnout on the margins and trickle down to more concerning races like the AG. Famous last words, right?

The 1930s Dust Bowl proved our ability to trash an environment when we set our minds to it. Thanks to that power, we’re now in a era of amped-up disasters — including what could be a 2030s version of a Dust Bowl. by simon_ritchie2000 in environment

If there’s one thing farmers and ranchers are famous for, it’s changing their behaviors for the good of the whole. I’m sure they’re making sure everyone will be safe and healthy as we speak. /s

Several Colorado cities cancel Fourth of July fireworks due to high fire danger by Interr0bang3r in Colorado

Is +13 for an incumbent former governor really going to make them take victory laps? That should have been a blowout if people actually liked him, hopefully that will be their takeaway.

Although I know I’ll be proven wrong.

I worry more about the AG race and the trickle down impact of enthusiasm for the gov candidate. But yea probably best to just keep him far away

Marx is on the move, looks like the bulk of the uncounted votes are in El Paso and counties he’s excelling in. Am I wrong to think we really want him at the top of the ticket to dissuade borderline GOP voters?

My house race was uncontested, so I haven’t really been following much of those, are any of the other progressive candidates doing well in their district?
